8-Way "Nashville" Strat Wiring

Update 5/11 - Had Middle pickup connections reversed. Corrected.

Requires a 4 pole 5-way "super" switch
For best results, use 3-wire (2+shield) single coil pickups, with the typical RWRP middle pickup

What's gained:
3 new series-humbucking combinations: Bridge/Middle, Middle/Neck, and out of phase Bridge/Neck
A Master Tone control
A Middle Pickup Blend Control (switch positions 1,3, and 5)
1 or 2 optional Kinman treble bleed mods (alter resister/cap values to taste...or omit)

What's lost:
The lone middle pickup setting (Stock 5-Way Sw Pos 3)
The individual Neck and Middle Tone Controls (Replaced with a single Master Tone control)
The optional treble bleed mods will alter volume swells
The guitar's original warranty will most likely be voided


Switching Scheme:
Super Switch Position 1 - Bridge pickup with the Middle Blend Control active
        With the Middle control turned down, just the Bridge pickup is active (Stock 5-way Pos 1)
        With the Middle control maxed, the Bridge and Middle are in humbucking parallel (Stock Pos 2)
        With the Middle control in between, determines how much Middle pickup is blended in (new)

Super Switch Position 2 - Bridge and Middle pickups are in humbucking series (new)
         Middle blend control inactive

Super Switch Position 3 - Bridge and Neck pickups are out of phase, and in humbucking series (new)
          Middle Blend control active, determines how much Middle pickup is blended in (new)

Super Switch Position 4 - Middle and Neck pickups are in humbucking series (new)
          Middle Blend control inactive

Super Switch Position 5 - Neck pickup with the Middle Blend Control active
        With the Middle control turned down, just the Neck pickup is active (Stock 5-way Pos 5)
        With the Middle control maxed, the Middle and Neck are in humbucking parallel (Stock Pos 4)
        With the Middle control in between, determines how much Middle pickup is blended in (new)


Notes: 
4-Pole 5-Way Super Switch may require more space than the original switch  

Switch positions 1,3,5 - the Middle pickup bypasses the Master Volume and Tone controls as suggested in this article

Using A RWRP Neck pickup instead of a RWRP Middle pickup would give out of phase Bridge + Middle combinations. Bridge + Neck and Middle + Neck combos would be in phase.  

Using a RWRP Bridge pickup instead of a RWRP Middle pickup would give out of phase Middle + Neck combinations. Bridge + Middle and Bridge + Neck combos would be in phase.

To omit the treble bleed mod(s), omit the 130k resister/ 1n2 capacitor network(s)
