Andy relay question

kirshman
I use the andy relay from osh park on a lot of my builds.  On some pedals when I plug them in they always start up on, and on other pedals they always start up off.  What am I doing different that makes them do this?

Are you sure it's the entire switch that's engaged when the pedal is "on"? If done properly they should always start up off. The thing to remember is the LED trigger wants the cathode (-) to be connected to the board. I made this mistake once.

Yep.  Just did it in a dual build build and the switches are definitely engaged when powered up. Led - is wired to the board, positive to power.  I'm confused.
