found a grave error in the layout, so this is on hold until I fix it.
Should probably not be making layouts when having the flu :P

EDIT Fixed! Should be safe to build now. :)

Everything Bjorn does sounds awesome and this is no exception!
I tried both 2N2222A's and MP38A germaniums in Q1/Q2.
I'll probably stick with a 2N2222A in Q1 and a MP38A in Q2.
For Q3/Q4 I used a 2N2222A and a 2N3906.

thanks for posting it Freppo.
I built this one tonight. I redrew Freppo's vero slightly (mine's 14x11) so the large diameter 100uf cap would fit easier and all of the resistors span at least 4 holes. the transistors also have to be rotated 180 degrees from Freppo's layout so be sure to check your pinouts.
here's my vero layout with the correct transistor orientation and their EBC designations.

Thanks John. Excellent improvement of my layout!
I always get obsessed with getting my layouts as small as possible.
Which sometimes makes it alittle crowded and hard to fit some components.
I was gonna flip the transistors around after I had verified it, but I forgot.

This fuzz has become one of my favourites. I love it. :)

Hey John & Freppo thanks for posting this. I built it and its a nice sounding pedal. I did notice on the demo they have a clipping switch to add clipping diodes in. Where would you cut that into the circuit. My build doesn't have anywhere the level of fuzz that the demo has. Nice sounding, but I want a bit more grind. Thanks.
