Behringer pedals. Thoughts?

Jon the Art Guy
I replied to a request for the FZ2 from Boss with that Behringer makes a clone of it with low cost build quality. Same with the HM2, and a TOOOON of old Boss circuits, as well as some EHX and Duncan circuits. What do you all think of Behringer for this?

My only experience with Behringer stuff comes from DJ and rack equipment. Most of the stuff I used worked OK but was maybe a little cheap and cheerful. I've never used their guitar effects but it looks like they've based their pedals on some decent circuits.

Most of those should just be rehoused and switching swapped for true bypass..

Saddly people don't seem to get those either. Quick look at ebay listings reveal that most sellers ask more for used units than some stores sell them for new..

Boss OC2 and SansAmp Bass driver are the two i've been thinking about buying and rehousing for some time now...
