I think the most obvious differences would be air flow and temperature control, a rework gun is a more precise tool specifically made for the job, those other heat guns are for stripping paint and other more industrial jobs, probably more attuned to making the entire board flow into a molten mass:-)
If it wasn't for this website I would definitely have a life.

I'd say the main difference is..
one of them is for reflowing solder and the other for stripping paint from skirting boards!

haha.

with the solder hot air gun you can control the temperature so you don't accidentally set fire to your board and it also has nozzles and air flow control
