Blend Pedal with Expression Pedal Output

velouriafx
Hi. Does anyone know how I can embed a expression pedal output in this project? Or has the schematic of some blender with this function. http://tagboardeffects.blogspot.com.br/2012/02/split-n-blend.html
I thought about turning on tips 2 and 3 on the expression output, but I do not think it would cut the signal when the pedal was fully up.

Wire the pot to a switched jack, then use an expression pedal with the same value pot (100K) if possible

How should I solder it?

Lug 1 to switch terminal
Lug 2 to tip
Lug 3 to ring
And ground to Sleeve?

And i use normal stereo cable?
If i use this jack, i could use also the pot when the expression pedal is unplugged?

Lug 3 to switched tip, Lug 2 to switched ring, Lug 1 to switched sleeve

normal TRS (stereo) cable

The switched jack lets you use the pot when no cable is plugged into the exp jack, and disconnects it when a cable is plugged in.

The important thing is to use an insulated jack, and you do not connect any lug of the jack to ground.

I made this for you. Since the pedal in question connects lug 2 of the pot to the output jack, you are going to connect the ring of the exp jack to the tip of the output jack, in this picture the exp jack ring lug is labelled "2".

Basically you are going to pretend the non-switched TRS lugs are 321 for the pot respectively, then the pot itself simply connects to the switched lugs on the jack

I did not realize I would not need to ground jack. It's obvious, just use plastic jacks. Thank you very much for all your help. I'll test it today.
