The Electric Wizard fuzz. Maybe without the input/output buffer switching Boss stuff. Can link to a schematic if you'd like

It's both this and the HM2 that i want so bad.

Ya know, if you're really fiending for the tone, Behringer is making both the FZ2 and HM2 circuits in their stompboxes. They're really poor build quality with all smd and surface-mount plugs and all that, but the circuits are the same, or similar, to the BOSS ones. I've been really thinking about getting both of the ones I want, and also checking out their delays, trems, etc. I don't gig, so they'd just sit on a shelf and not get smacked around.

they also copied some Duncan and EHX circuits.

I have an original hyper fuzz.. the first guitar pedal I ever bought. It was never my cup of tea until I got older and figured out how to use it and stack it.  It's a pretty decent circuit imo. I really like how saturated it can get!

Here is a list of what Behringer made and from whom it was copied. http://tinyurl.com/aj2f386

The Behringer is a cool fuzz for 25 bucks, but for me it doesnt quite scratch the FZ-2 itch. Mode II just doesn't deliver The Wizard!
