Boss PS-3

I'm guessing this one would be pretty tough to fit onto vero? It's got some pretty hectic ICs.

Even if I was masochistic enough to consider it, it uses surface mount ICs and so impossible to do on 2.54mm pitch vero.  But even if it used DIP IC's I still wouldn't do it.  It would end up needing a board the size of a VCR and be a full time job to support it with people having problems.  I really don't fancy having to ask someone to measure the voltages on their 44 pin IC.  Sorry, but you'll have to buy this one
