Circuit request for Yamaha Nylon...

Chris mudd
Hello!!,
I am building my version of a semi solid Nylon string guitar. I found the service manual for this guitar that includes the Piezo preamp that came with this guitar.

I would always rather build my own before I purchase one.

Could anyone make a tagboard layout for this preamp???

thanks to anyone who would consider this.....

Chris

But, the part of the schematic where there's a stage of the TL062, called IC101-1 is connected nowhere. Why? is it completely useless?

Yes. That op-amp is unused. If not configured properly, unused op-amps can generate noise and use excessive power. Read more.

It's good practice to do this in any circuit with an unused op-amp, but it's even more important in on-board preamps to avoid draining the battery, which is probably also why they specified TL062 instead of TL072.

Thanks, I didn't know it. I think I seen sometime the unused extra opamp stage, but developped more simply: with inverting input and output jumpered, and the non-inverting input directly to the vb.
At my first sight on the link you posted I think that's ok, too. Right?

Yeah, that's how I usually do it. I'm not sure what the benefit of the extra resistors are in this case.
