Couple of new builds in progress....

Finally finished the enclosures today and the parts were delivered today!

Naturally I had to put the pots and things in to see what they would look like...

First up:  ehx small clone clone. Still not 100% sure on the knob design and colour.  The suggestive text wasn't intentional... Maybe it was a subconscious thing lol



Next up... The mighty thunderbird!  Undecided on the knob colour. Was thinking maybe red instead of black?



Hopefully I'll get at least on of these done this weekend :)

love the small stone, and the thunderbird box art. definitely funny the unintentional innuendo, makes me think of the posters for the rocky horror picture show, the radio dj in the warriors, and pink floyd the wall. some of my favorite movies, btw.

btw, i love the black knobs on the thunderbird, it brings out the text, i personally think the red will clash a bit since there's not really a matching or contrasting color. just my $0.02.

oh, and i'm sure they're going to turn out awesome like the rest of the builds i've seen of yours. definitely top notch stuff.

it didn't turn out in the pic, but the thunderbird actually does have a red and black pinstripe border. that's the only reason why i was thinking red might work.

was also thinking of purple knobs on the small clone *cough*

Definitely keep the black knobs on the T-bird, but purple on the Small Stone would look pretty sick. Nice builds btw.

I like those small black knobs - are the knurled or do they have set screws? Are they costy?

Yes to the first question and no to the second. Tayda has them in plenty of colors for $0.50. Davies 1900H.
