any time buddy, glad you like it. i fucking love mine. the problem is that the depth pot is what makes this what it is, as this is essentially Ge fuzzrite. i think the depth pot acts more like a phase pot, then a simple variable resistor. as you play with the different settings you'll find that there's a slight octave effect.

with my bass i stick with it more CCW then CW, but for raw, nasty garage/psych rock i use it more CW like you.

Well shit, my last TC1044S just fried. This happens quite often and I dont know why.

Using the inverter and a onespot, everything works great. Then when using the same setup but also powering other pedals with the onespot, the IC get fire hot and then fries. Any idea why this would happen? I will go through a few ICs burning them up, then finally get one that does not burn up. Same thing happened with my GE Fuzz Face and my Rangemaster. Both fried a few ICs, then finally put one in that did not burn and they have been working ever since. WTF?

The FR-69 was going great, then I decided to run two other pedals with it. Smoked right away...

I've put this one on my breadboard. First tried NPN but that didn't give a nice result with my trannies. With different PNPs it sounds really nice but it is not very loud. Volume cranked it's barely unity. Anybody else had this at some point?

Sounds like something's not right there. My Fuzzrite is loud as hell, I would guess this is supposed to be close

Yes it was a connection problem on breadboard. I got it to sound really good after testing a lot trannies. Now it is soldered on stripboard and it sounds really weak again :) So time to probe and get those trannies unsoldered again. Or could somebody post some multimeter readings? thanks
