DBA Ghost Delay?

BetterOffShred
Hey guys, I've been scouring the internets looking for a cascading delay, of course there is the Monster Sagan Delay, which is verified, but has anyone come across a schematic for the Ghost Delay from Death by Audio? Or perhaps someone has one they would care to autopsy?   I am guessing it's just 3 PT2399's switched similarly to the Sagan design.   I'd love to see it!

Re: DBA Ghost Delay?

I don't own one of these personally, but I've messed around with it and it's capable of some really cool sounds. Just a few features of the effect:

- Each of the three delay lines is parametrized by delay time (from 30ms to 700ms) and feedback.
- There's an AUX OUT that sends the sum of the first two delays line out (to another amp, to another pedal, etc..)
- there's a 4-position blend control

Reviews say that "every delay reacts differently at maximum feedback".. this could mean that the feedback network (different audio-band filtering, etc..) for each delay line is unique?

Given these features it wouldn't be too difficult to emulate the Ghost using known circuit snippets from other effects in combination with a bit of signal splitting and routing circuitry.

Great pedal by a great company... I always suggest to people that they directly support DBA whenever they can by buying directly from their website. Best of luck.
