DBA TSA style problems

Hey guys, I feel like such a newb posting this, but this is confusing me.

Basically, I've built a Total Sonic Annihilation-style looper with a feedback loop.  I'm using a schematic that Beavis Audio did a few years ago.  Hopefully it will post below:



Basically, the problem I'm having is that the pot seems wrong.  when I engage the feedback loop, I'm getting no effect through most of the pot turn, then pretty much all of the effect all at once near the end of the turn.  I've tried switching to a B500K, and an A100K, but all 3 pot values behave almost exactly the same.

Is there anything I can do to actually get a sweep?  Is there a problem with the schematic?  I've already reversed the pot wiring, because the schematic shows it backwards.  I'll post my gut shot below, hopefully it isn't too messy to follow.



I'd greatly appreciate any help or tips you guys could provide.  Thanks!

What's in the loop?

I was testing it with an MXR Carbon Copy, but in inquiring in other places, I found out that it behaves differently depending on what you have in the loop.

I ended up trying it with a variety of pedals, and discovered that some pedals have a decent sweep, some do what I've described above, and some don't do anything at all...

Death by Audio pedals always make me feel like such a bonehead...

Needless to say, I've put the A500K back in it, and called it finished.  It's still fun to play with, and it's interesting to see what it does to each pedal I have.

Lowering the pot value will increase your issue, so raise it to a B1M instead.
Then you will get better control and sweep...
