First, Big thanks to Bugg for posting schematic of this monster, really appreciate it.. And really cool to see the old Maestro Superfuzz get a makeover.

It works! Updated the vero above and it sounds just awesome. A bit noisy when both Before and After knobs is dimed. Weared out the sockets while trying out a lot of different trannies since it was a bit too compressed with 2N5089. I think I'm going to settle with 2N5088 or BC109C.

Once again, thanks Bugg!

I've never jumped on a build so quickly!  Thanks for another stellar layout, Anders.

I built the layout on the main page. It's working, but if I have the bias (after) set over halfway it induces a ton of noise. I can't find any errors, tried different 5089's. Anyone else experience this? I'm gonna pop in some different trannies, 5088, bc 108 or 109 and see what happens. Maybe I'll build this layout too and see if I have the same issues. Could be I fucked it up somewhere, just can't see it.

Well, I've worn out my sockets too. With 5089's, most of mine were around 600 hfe, it's was crazy noisy and super compressed. Cured the noise with slightly lower gain trannys. Tried bc549's, 108's, and I think I'm settling on 5 109c's all around 500-550 hfe.

I had the same problem as you with this one, 2N5089's turned this into a noise machine with the After knob dimed so I ended up with the same solution as you, lower gain 2N5088s calmed things down.
