Depth Pot for Overdriver

I built a Colorsound Overdriver but would like to add a depth pot to it similar to the depth switch like the Black Forest has. I wanted to use a pot so save myself space in the enclosure and I would like to get some of the in between settings that a toggle won’t get me. I found a vero daughterboard that  was shared on FSB:

When I was looking cap blend pots I read that there should be more of a difference between the high and low, would using a 4.7n on the low side and a 1uf on the high side be a good place to start? I don’t want it to get too boomy with the pot turned all the way up. Thanks.

A depth pot, or input cap blend, is one of my favorite additions to many classic circuits. I prefer a pot between a 10nF and 10uF to give me a broad range which will definitely get boomy or mushy cranked all the way up depending on the circuit. Try socketing the caps so you can fine tune it to your liking.

Thanks for the reply Stymie. I went with a 4.7n on the low side and a 10u on the high side. Full on, it’s a bit too much but backed off a bit sounds great. Much better than the stock Overdriver.
