Electret Preamp to MEMS Preamp

spacefuzz74
hey everyone,

I'd like to replace a electret mic/preamp build (see attachment) with a MEMS mic.  I'd like to keep the preamp, and just swap out mics.

However, the electret mic is a 2 wire connect, while the MEMS is a 3 wire (pinout attached).  What do i need to do to replace this condenser electret with the MEMS?

Any suggestions on modifying the vero layout attached here (adding/removing/moving components)?

let me know what you think!

A quick online search for MEMS Microphone Preamp will tell you that this kind of microphone needs a totally different preamp design than what is used for Electret microphones.
Forget about the preamp you are using for the Electret, and have a look at THIS
Electret is ancient tech designed in the 1920's, and the MEMS are brand new tech designed for the smartphone era. IOW: not anywhere near similar in design...
