I built this a while back as a headphones amp, omitting both the speaker switch and the auxiliary inputs as the Gain control also distorts the audio signal.

There are 3 suggested jfet gain options, determined by R2.R3 and R7,R8 values. The jfets gain stages can be mixed or matched.
