Have just ordered  1590B x10  to Daier. Let's hope I get not in trouble with customs. Definetely, the price was hard to beat ($40 including s&h), so had no choice as it's just €3.20 each.

Tayda's prices even with coupon are about 35% more expensive, so we'll see in a few weeks.

I know I keep praising Bitcheslovemyswitches but I think he's got the absolute best prices and service. The guy is awesome, he's willing to put any value on the box for you and he ships same day. Sure, buy 10 3PDT's and it's expensive but buy lots of stuff and you've got a great deal. I recently ordered 50x 1590BB's and 2x 1590DD's plus some knobs.

His shipping is good as well. Only takes a week to get to my place in Iceland (1 day is from the capital to my hometown).

Just received the 1590Bx10 pcs from Daier, exactly 2 weeks.

Vey similar (if not the same) to Tayda's ones and just 3,30 euros / piece including shippin'.

Will buy more from this seller. Thanks for the info Miro!

If I ordered that much, the customs would have their way with me in strange and unusual ways... no matter what the d00d wrote on the package.

Even 10 is really pushing it... I'll contact the guy and see if his prices and stock are reasonable enough to give up on Tayda for hardware.

Really? Where do you live?

I think I've ordered now over 100x enclosures from this guy and the customs are always fine with the amount he puts on the package. I also order knobs and 3PDTs from him.

Re: Enclosures

I think I've mentioned it in one of my posts, I'm in Croatia.

There's three limits on imported goods when it comes to our Customs office.

One, every parcel with value over 50eur gets opened and both VAT and customs duties are paid. There are some items that are exempt from customs duties but VAT gets paid.
To paraphrase the new song from the bearded ZZ folks, the government gotsta get paid.

Two, every parcel over half a kilo gets opened. All of the above applies.

Three, every package containing more than 20 or so of any one thing gets questioned. If you need more than 20 of a certain item, it cannot be considered "for personal use" and therefore must be imported through a freight company and ordered by a company registered for business that needs said item. I shudder to think what would happen if I ordered a 2500pc resistor kit off ebay for $10ish.

Naturally, once in a while a package slips through the cracks, intentionally or otherwise. It's just nothing one can count on.

Are you in the UK JaviCAP?

What value did he put on the customs label?

If it's 10x for $40 including shipping to the UK and there was no problem with customs, i think i'll order a batch!

Did you enquire about pricing for 3PDT's too?

Did you just deal with him over email? - does he reply promptly?

Thanks,

Ian

No, I'm in Spain, but being in the UE, shippin, taxes and time to get here  are just the same.

He declared a value of $15. Used registered mail (China Post), and I paid him (Paypal) on March 12th and received the enclosures today.

Yes, it's $40 for the 10 enclosures + shippin', so a great deal (in Tayda is about  $72, $63 if using coupon).

Had no problem with customs, but I was a bit afraid. Finally it was fine, the parcel was very compact and about a 1,5kg weight.

I talked directly to him trough  the Alibaba trade app chat, but he also answers mail very quick.

I just received 10 from jprelec for a very reasonable £36 with free delivery and coz they're in the uk only took 2 days. They also do good prices for solder, vero board and also copper clad pcb board and etchant for anyone so inclined.
If it wasn't for this website I would definitely have a life.

You're lucky in the UK to have stores such as Jprelec or Rapidonline, wish I could have something similar in Spain.
