Fatpants jr 2015 diode Q's...

Hello everyone thanks for looking. I'm building a fatpants jr and only have a 4742 zener which is rated to 12v. It says that it needs a 15v zener. Will the 4742 be to small? If so, is there an equivalent? Thnx everyone...
