Favorite DIY delay?

So, I've built a zillion fuzzes, phasers, trems, etc. but I haven't built a delay. I know the Deep Blue Delay is super popular, but does anyone prefer something different? What's your favorite?

I really love the DBA echo dream - for me it does both classic delay and whacky stuff
Make sure to include a 18V charge pump though, otherwise the modulation doesn't really kick (see here)

Rebote 2.5 with a larger time pot, I just built the culturejams neptune that's pretty sweet..  I love the Deprofundis too.. built the echo dream 2 that's a good one ..  delay is my favorite effect.  The DIY jobs are all fairly similar but have unique feature.

I agree on the Rebote (although I only built the 2 knob version), super simple and not so big a layout, a good place to start. I haven't build one but there is also the Madbean Cave Dweller that looks interesting.

I built an Aquapuss with modulation circuit from Sabrotone’s layout. It’s definitely a different tone than the Deep Blue and Echo Dream I also built, it doesn’t sound so sterile. Not to take anything away from the other two, but I would definitely build the Aquapuss again. It’s the most complicated build I’ve done and definitely one for my favorites.

i've built a madbean Leviathan (wampler faux tape echo) with a zero point mini mod board with some of madbean's suggested mods and gotten some crazy sounds.

also a deep blue delay with taptation tap tempo was very nice.
