Alex, can you make a version with only two clipping modes? Because 1P5Ts are very hard to find in Brazil. I really like the demos of this and want to build with SPDT switch for clipping or offboard clipping with dpdt. Thanks

Velouria, many rotary switches can be adjust to only switch a few positions. Set it for however many you need. In this case, 5.

I know, but any rotary is hard to find lol
I Only have one 3P4T ordered from Tayda, but i will use in Space Patrol. Tayda orders usually take around 90 days to get here being optimistic.

Ah cool.

I might be completely wrong here, but it looks like you could easily use a toggle with the given layout. Using a SPDT, run the "SW 1-A" to the middle lug. Then the two outer lugs to either of the  SW 2 - 5 positions of your choice. You could also leave off any of the unused components.

The middle lug should have the pair with the highest forward voltage (LEDs); When set to the 'off' position, the LED pair are engaged: When switched to either throw, the lower forward voltage of the FET+diode or Si diodes will conduct instead, effectively "bypassing" the LEDs. It would mean you couldn't have a "no clipping" option unless you add a second SPST switch to disconnect the clipping switch altogether.

Verified! Ended up with 680pf for C1, 1N5817 for D4 and 1N4001 for D3. Used a 2P6T and adjusted the washer to get five nodes. Sounds awesome. Thanks Alex and Nocentelli.

True, but will make little difference - your maximum treble will be imperceptibly brighter and no-one who can still hear will run it at max treble anyway. I suspect it was a deliberate omission to make a tidy layout.

Thank you. I just built it and it sounds great, both into a clean and driven amp.  

 The filter switch is so subtle, they eliminated it on their upcoming mini version.  I took out the 4n7 so it's now "nothing/22n". The hiss and noise aren't filtered out anymore, but in some settings, it's not a problem and the extra sizzle is welcome.
