Help tracing an MXR Preamp (162 Commande series)

cylens
hey there,

someone with an old MXR preamp pedal asked me if I could build a clone for him, I would need some advice on what I have obtained (it's a first, for me)...

I've scaled both top and bottom images, so you can overlay them:

and here's the schematic: the first part looks like a MXR microamp with a few variations, the tone control however looks "weird" to me: it's close to a DOD FX10 bifet, but I wouldn't mind extra pairs of eyes on it!

Thanks in advance (of course, I'll make a layout when I'm done with it)

I was under the impression that was pretty much a copy of the FX10. I have a schematic of that if you want to use it to compare. Let me know. Or if you want to send me some photos I'd take a crack at tracing that out.

here's alink to the FX10 schmo. See if that gets you any where. if not let me know. see what i can do.

thanks for offering your help!

the guy who owns the pedal told me too he thought it was the same as the FX10, but the first part of the circuit is definitely related to an MXR Microamp...

anyway, I've been over the pcb a few times, noticed a missing 10k resistor from pin 2 of the TL072 to Tone pot 3. the guy just gave me the values for all caps and I'll breadboard it soon.
