Help with DIYLC 3.2.8.0

Hallo, lately I m trying to create some veros, maybe in the end I'll give something back to the blog!.)
But I'm having some issues with my version of DIYLC . The cuts seem to be hardly visible for me. Is there a way to use these red squares with the circle inside that everybody else is using? I dont like at all that the cut is just a slight line. Thank you.

Double click on your cut. That opens up the preferences for the selection. There is a check box for "Cut between holes". Uncheck it.
