High Gain distortion/fuzz?

Hi!

I just saw a quad op amp, and i was thinking.(lm324 as example (tayda))
Is there any (vero) schematic with a quad op amp or 2?
Im looking for a high gain metal style fuzz/distortion.
Maybe you guys have suggestions or maybe i can create one myself.
if its possible, im looking for a one knob (volume) pedal, like a fuzz box from colorsound.

It could be a interesting thing to work with...

Do a search for Acapulco Gold. There is one or two knob versions and has a very low parts count. It uses two LM386 amps. I built one and boxed it. Super loud if you build the one knob version.
