In-Line Ground Isolator for 9V Power Adapter

Has anyone built an in-line ground isolator? I want to be able to power (daisy-chain) multiple 9v pedals with different ground configurations (center negative and center positive) with a single regulated power supply i.e. i want to build a D.I.Y. version of a Godlyke ground hog isolator.
