Just wondering a couple things.  was this ever verified, and what is the 1m vr in the bottom corner for?  what am i trying to set with it?

Is this from a different schematic?  They don't match.  3 x ICs vs 2 X ICs, and quite a few other differences along the way.  Maybe different versions???

And if anyone knows how to change the Q switch to a pot, that would be great to know how to do.

I see the schematic was updated recently.  The layout must have been for version 1.

 The third IC on Ander's was on the original schem. and is a charge pump to  bump things up for more headroom and clarity. There are other aspects that look pretty different though, yes.
