just downloaded it and messed around with it. to get the bands on the resistor you need to put the value in, not as the name, but where it says value and choose the correct multiplier (k, r, M), and click the checkbox next to the bands and they should show up.

Also the drop down menu that says Display (under the colour code menu),  set to Value or Both. I think the check boxes are to set the defaults for the next items selected.

How do u put DSG or BEC on the transistor can't figure it out.

individual letters. select the text tool, type in the letter, i make it bold and white. then i copy it and change the letter for the next pin.
