here's a great sounding, high headroom overdrive with amp-like response. it runs on 18V but I've included the charge pump on the vero. the original has a cool switching system with an added boost if you double click the footswitch quickly to turn the boost on and off, but I omitted that part since I just wanted the overdrive (which has way more than enough output) and had no idea of how to write the program code for the added chip that controls it.

yes.
I also found it to be a bit dark, so on mine I replaced the both 470p's with 100p's. the second tone control also didn't have much range so change the 3n3 to a 10n. IMO, it sounds a lot better that way.

yes, the 7660S and LT1054 are interchangeable.
