Just the modulation bit from taptation

Geiri
This should be possible. I'm wondering how to retain the modulated trails from the taptation kit, ditch the tap tempo and make it as small as possible? Surely, that chip must be available from somewhere else than DIYstompoboxes, right?

You wouldn't need that if you just wanted the modulation.  Just build an Echo Base

What if I want to make a deep blue delay and have the trails modulated?

You'd need to get it on a breadboard

Or use a splitter/mixer to put the dry signal parallel to the DPD, run the delay wet only and put any chorus pedal you like after it and before you mix them back together.

I think I will! I never fancied doing Sabro's layout but now that there's one from you, I think I'm gonna have to do it!
