randomly came across this one on youtube. sounds nice and creamy to me. so i did some searching and mr. keeley actually posted the schematic online, well he said it may need some tweaking right above the schematic, but it still gives us a good idea of what the circuit looks like. i figured i would post up the schematic and if anyone was interested in it, i would make a layout for it. so take a listen and tell me what you think?

Indeed! It's becoming very apparent that I am acquiring an unproportional supply of "DistODFuzz" devices and my currently obtained parts for my "want" builds are feeling quite neglected

Might be able to save you some time Rocket... I did a bulky layout of this for myself, but I haven't built it yet (no TL074 on hand). Let me try it out, if it works I'll clean it up and post it here.

Hey they implemented the self-bias trick on the germanium transistor. Not seen very often when it really should. Nice.

No one ever posted a layout huh? This is the one I mentioned a couple years ago and totally forgot about. It's too big. It has a standing component. It is NOT verified. But I dunno... maybe it works. Or maybe it's a starting point that saves someone else time if they want to design a new one.

And the whole bottom row was really just there to get 9v to the other side of the chip. If I were building it myself I'd probably just run a wire across like this, and save a row and a column. Again, assuming the board works.
