couldn't sleep so i tried again. still the same width, but now 4 rows smaller
.
looks better then the first, but still too fucking big. will be working on another one to get it narrower, and a little longer so it doesn't have to sit sideways in a 125b.

Hi Zach!
Looking at those schematics I think there are a few mistakes in your layout:
I think pin 11 should go to ground and pin 4 to +9V (correct?).
Also you should check everything from pin 13 & 14 of your layout.
I've also made one to give you an idea but I can delete it as soon as you fix yours.

Shit. I read the pinout backwards for some reason. So I had from top to bottom on the left 1-7, and 8-14 on the right, when that should be 14-8. Will be fixed in a little bit. This could also explain why the layout looks like shit to me and is too big.

Leave yours up man, I'll fix mine and this way there's a few different options to do. Also, this is why I usually try not to do IC layouts....they've been my Achilles heal cause of stupid shit like this.

Don't worry. I always double check IC's and transistors pinouts on Google beacuse I can never remember them. And I still manage to fuck them up! You should keep practicing with those cause your layouts are really good!

Thanks buddy, you're layouts are great too, so I hope you're not selling yourself short. The funny thing is transistors I actually kinda have down by memory, IC's for some reason I try to remember and I'm always wrong.

For now I removed my layouts as they were completely fucked up. I've been messing with it trying to get it how I want, but I keot making it worse. Figured why have multiple bad layouts and one good one, so look at albru's to build this. Still going to try and make a layout, but it's moved lower on my list since I promised to do 2 others. Great job albru on the layout.
