Klon build is giving an upper octave

Strassercaster1
hello everyone. I just finished a klon build. It sounds really good but has a happy accident or problem depending on your point of view .  . I had one  mistake on the first fire up. i had a 1m on r4 instead of a 560r. I bombed the 2 opamps. I  triple checked everything and found the issue and replaced the all the chips even though the 7660 is still good.

So im putting it through the paces and on the high E 14th and 15th fret its got a wierd  octaving or serious second order harmonics  . Hard to describe but on those 2 notes its like a different pedal . l. Not exactly like  a fuzz octave but similar almost a tinge of flange to it . It sounds really cool but its not how a klon should sound. Its for a friend and while i like it i dont think i can leave it mainly because it wouldnt be consistent .  any ideas on why this is happening?   its wicked as heck on those 2 notes and if it did it on more than just 2 notes id want to bottle it ha ha. sort of like that tube amp on 6 at the end of the night but even more unique .I have done  a bunch of Klons and over 50 different opamp diode clipping circuits this one was a pcb replica with the real klon box replica as well. i made 2 others they dont do it.

All values are correct , i have no bridges. I am wondering if when i bombed the opamps that maybe i bombed an electrolytic or maybe did something to one of the clipping diodes. I used 1n34a in the do-7 larger casings the batch i got was crazy all over the placd forward voltages were up to .700 on some and .200 on others  . I did match the diodes to .001 forward voltage .at .380v. i might just keep it and make another one but i want to know why i am getting this, I wish it did it all over those two notes are screaming with overtones.. i just got a free  oscilloscope and bought the leads for it yesterday but havent ever used one. I always visually inspect then meter then audio probe when trouble shooting .  I made a  tychobra octavia and did a ton of extreme changes to it a couple years ago and it does something similar a chorus/flange type of feel but thats consistent this just confuses me . I cant give it too my buddy like this and i dont know if i want to change it hmmmm? Your thoughts? Thanks in advance
