LED diode orientation

Hi

In the process of building the HAO Sole Pressure, and got confused about the notation on the layout, as the el caps has a mark that indicates the negative, does the marking of the LED diodes also specify the negative?

Hey Erik!

Yeah, it's the "negative" all right. Better think it as the "cathode".
Anyway in the given situation where two diodes (leds) are placed like this for asymmetrical clipping, it doesn't matter which diode faces where, as long as they face the opposite direction.

This is symmetrical clipping.
