LED on vero blowing out.

hey all,

i tried this a few different times now, and either i'm over tired or something because when i hook up my LED light to vero (see attached photo) it keeps blowing.  when i connect without the vero, it all works fine.

what am i not seeing here?

Your clr is shorted. Cut the vero under the resistor.
