Anyone know what fuzz Link Wray was using around this time? His sound is totally brutal, I love it!

No idea but he changed up his gear constantly and sounded brutal through all of it. I have read in a couple of places that he would dime whatever amp he was using so that's going to factor in.

This is my favorite guitar sound ever recorded, it's like a rusty razor.

Hihihi, maybe you can approach that kind of rocking desaster with a Bazz fuss mounted with a Mpsa18 and the  to-35 silicon version of 1n34.
