MI Audio Crunchbox oscillating

Him I finished the MI Audio Crunch box today and it makes really weird noises when engaged. Like an amp oscillation. I know my wiring is really messy, do you think its oscillating because of the wiring ?

It could be the wiring as I had a purple plexi a while ago that whined when I slightly moved the wiring. Might be an idea to try different IC's if you have them too.

Shit, i think there is a mistake on the board, the two clipping leds are always shining very bright.

yep. you definitely have an error somewhere. those LEDs are NOT supposed to always be on.

Just wanted to add that my Crunchbox sometimes goes into oscillation when the gain is maxed but works fine most of the time. Doesn't really matter for me though since I never dime the gain. The Leds light up very bright in mine, but only when playing.

I use a Tl072 instead of a LM833 cause I had TL072 at home. Could this be the problem ?

Ok, I the thing is not oscillating any more but doesnt work either. I checked agian for wiring mitakes and found nothing. Here is what I get. True bypass and the led are working, when I switch the pedal on I get a quiter dry signal than bypassed, mixed with a very quiet distorted sound. The clipping LEDs seem to work fine. They seem to shine right. Any ideas where to search ?
