Maestro Brass Master

It's rather big, a bit ugly and has lot's of cuts but this is my attempt of the great, mean Maestro Brassmaster. It is not verified at the moment and I'm not sure I got the filter network, the Brass Switch and the diodes left to the transformer right. I will give this one a shot during the weekend. I have built Harald Sabros layout but I wanted a layout with normal pinouts for the transistors

Now verified, tons of glitchy, farty, ringmodish fuzzy goodness. I haven't auditioned transistors yet, right now I have a MPSA12 for Q5 and 2N3904 for the other slots.

I have a request in for the Malekko B:assmaster.  Any idea how close it is to this one?

I have no idea. I have only read the thread over at FSB with assumtions...the diodes seems to be germanium, one or two of the transistors is supposed to be AC187 and all the transistors is getting 9v.

I have updated the layout above, some cosmetic changes and more space for the transformer, it was a bit tight in the old layout.

Malekko B:assmaster is a direct clone of the Brass Master!

Neil's correct, the Si B:Assmaster is a direct clone of the original, but the Ge version is a little different. I know there's a lot of hypotheticals on it, but I'm 99.999999% sure the only change was the diodes are Ge instead of Si. I don't believe any of the transistors are Ge, but I can't say for sure since I haven't cracked one open.
