Mammoth Electronics Out of Business

Snare227
Sad to see Mammoth going out of business, as I have used them for enclosures and their Pro footswitches for a long time.   Who else are you US builders using for enclosures?  Love My Switches has been great to me, and Tayda has always been solid for a lot of items, though shipping can be a bit much for enclosures.  Anyone else out there have a good deal for bulk enclosures without killer shipping prices?  I got a small lot of enclosures off Ebay awhile back and found out that all little aluminum boxes are not created equal.

I use Tayda and love myswitches for standard stuff and enclosures. For more specific needs Small Bear has never let me down.

Mammoth are by far the worst parts seller I’ve ever dealt with. They should have gone out of business years ago.

Mouser is the ultimate parts supplier for me. Tayda is good for cheap pots and smallbear is good for small qty NOS parts. I’m a big ebay guy too

I'm in Australia and use Tayda and Mouser.  Tayda is good for the bulk parts like caps and resistors, LEDs, etc, but I like Mouser for jack sockets and enclosures. The enclosures at Tayda are cheaper but I really like the texture black Hammonds at Mouser. They don't foul my drills as quickly and are harder wearing.  And for jacks they have to be Switchcraft or Neutrik. Chinese jacks aren't worth the trouble.

Weirder stuff I get from Small Bear or Ebay.

mouser or digikey for diodes, resistors, capacitors, pots and IC's
tayda for enclosures and LEDs
LMS for enclosures and jacks or switches if i'm suck
smallbear for specialty parts and 9mm pots
vimex for stomp and toggle switches (they have a relatively large MOQ, but great quality!)
