just finished boxing up a DAM Meathead from the one-knob-fuzz-bonanza post and had a bit of an issue trying to test it.
when I plugged it in to my Voodoolabs PPII, the LED flashed once and then went out. The pedal is now dead and the LED has not lit since. Do you think that its an issue with the LED (i.e. in backwards) or would a short elsewere in the circuit cause this?
Sounds like possibly a reversed power supply. It should be +9V, center negative, assuming you used standard offboard wiring. Maybe you wired the DC jack backwards.
Alternatively, if you have a short between V+ and ground in the main circuit, that could kill or shut down the power supply itself. Does it still work with other pedals?
