NPN/GE - AC176 Pinout.

Can anyone verify the correct pinout of this AC176 transistor?  i'm finding conflicting information online, so i was hoping someone here would know.  Does the tab signify the Collector or Emitter?

The tab is the emitter, base is in the middle, and collector is opposite to the tab.
