Please check my first ever vero

I thought it was about time I tried this for myself. First ever vero of a pretty simple schematic;

here's what I figured;

I know there's a bunch of standing axial components... still... did I get it about right?

No it doesn't look right.  You've got the diodes going to ground, C5 should be 1n, no cut between the output cap and the transistor base, R1, R2 and R4 are all connected to 9V

Thanks Mark, I already thought I was going too fast. I'll have another go and be more careful. Maybe even wear my reading glasses...

It's easy to make mistakes when you first start doing them (or even when you've been doing them for a few years!) but eventually it just all clicks into place and you're more aware of things like required cuts to isolate parts of the circuit etc.  Just keep at it and I'm sure it'll be second nature soon.

...never mind... I see a mistake. R4 is just kinda dangling there...

Nearly there, but C5 and R4 should be going to the base, not ground.  So if you move them over a bit and take them to the base row you can also get rid of 2 links.

Thanks Mark, I think I got confused by C2 going to ground in the schematic. Or something. In retrospect I don't know what I was thinking. I'll fix that right away and see if I can make it a bit smaller overall, lose a few strips.

Fixed the cap and resistor to Base instead of ground (d'oh), lost two jumpers and a tracecut.
Deleted a couple strips on the bottom. Figured I might as well delete a few columns. Making it even smaller would mean having all axial components standing up... I'll spare you the eye sore.
Thanks for your help Mark, I'll do a couple more in a day or two, this one taught me to keep the old peepers open a bit wider.

Yeah that looks good to me.  You have one standing resistor but you can avoid it if you want to (not everyone is as hung up about that as me).  Remember you used a link to take ground up to the second row, so instead of taking the 680 ohm emitter resistor to ground on the bottom row, take it up to the second row instead and it makes the same connection laying flat.  Maybe put D1 next to D2, move C6 two columns to the right where D1 used to be, then put R1 up to the second row in the gap left by moving C6.
