Possible Group buy for Enclosures

Sensei Tim
So i was contacted by a manufacturing company out of China that makes enclosures.  They are the suppliers for Love Pedal, EHX, and All Pedal

They have some pretty amazing pricing on enclosures... hopefully you can read the text..

They can mix-and-match the enclosures. The only catch is that the screws may not always be available.

Pretty tempting if we can hit the MOQ and score some enclosures for under $2 each.  Not sure what the shipping cost would be for this tho.

Any interest in getting a group buy together?

I think it helps to know where people are located - because the enclosures have to be re-shipped. I am in California. Where are you. Tim?

$2.00 an enclosure sounds pretty darn good.  And those are all well-known companies so the quality must be there.

I'm in Canada.

It seems to make sense to have them shipping to the country where the majority of the buyers are and then re-ship from there to save on postage costs.

I THINK the guys in china will ship them on a pallet, but I need to confirm this.

Usually they do ship by pallet and it will ship dhl. Shipping is going to kill, speaking from experience.

working on seeing what the shipping charges will be like.

also asked if they could split the shipments... maybe partial to the US, Canada, and UK.

I should have an answer later this evening.

I'd be interested in around thirty, depending on shipping costs to BC.

For those of you who are interested, please give me the following information:

Location
Model & quantity (list all models)

Once I have a ballpark number of how many enclosures I can see about getting shipping quotes.

I will try to get them with screws, but their quote says no screws unless we order 1000+

Remember we need to hit at least 500 enclosures to get the MOQ

Zach and I have both bought from these guys already. The shipping is very expensive. You're not gonna get as amazing of a deal as it seems, but all things factored in the 1590B ends up around $3.50 each

The quality isn't as good as hammond but it's about half the price or less

EDIT: sorry I was confused. This seems to be a different seller. Sorry!

With  the dealer I use, and that Travis used do get you on shipping. I ordered quite a bit more then Travis so the cost per enclosure was a bit cheaper. But then again I ordered over 120 enclosures for myself, 1590bb, 125b, and 1590dd. Not counting the wah enclosures.

If they sell to the companies named in the original post the boxes should be fairly decent - assuming they are the same.

I would be interested depending on how much the forwarding cost adds to the shipping cost to BC. I am in California.

I could be good for 50 to 100 units depending on cost. Assuming they end up being $3.50 after shipping that is still a really good deal.  Think of the money you will save in the long run.
