Question regarding the similarities of Wampler Triple Wreck and Abasi Pathos

Hello all! I recently stumbled upon the layout of Abasi's Pathos and am interested in someday building it, however, the layout is kind of huge. I already have a wampler triple wreck clone which I adore, anyways, I am terrible at understanding schematics and stuff as of yet, but I have noticed ridiculous similarities in the circuits as one guy commented that Pathos is "just a triple wreck with capacitor changes".

Do you think I could maybe use the layout of the triple wreck (22x22) rather than (30x24) but just use the same caps as the Pathos model?

I thought about this when I saw the Abasi Pathos's schematic.
Check the two schematics (follow them, I'm sure those are very similar, probably the same schematic, it won't be so hard), and if you can't see any difference except some values part, I can't see why you should use the Triple Wreck layout.
