ROG Britannia preferences

Lee Oswald
To those who've built the Britannia -

What op-amp do you prefer? Did ROG have a specific op-amp
intended for the Britannia?
I didn't shoot anyone.

I used the TL072. I opted for the 1776 PCB and the BOM has a link to Mouser that will pretty much complete the items except for the pots, J201, 2N5457 - I think the cost was like under 16.00 for the parts from Mouser.
Yeah, 220, 221. Whatever it takes.

It's a little late for that, for me. I've got the vero fully populated, except for installing the transistors and op amp in their sockets.

If the Britannia turns out to have problems, and I can't get it resolved (I had that problem with John K's Engineer's Thumb layout. Gave up and built Harald's layout.) then I'll order the PCB and try that.

What op amp did the BOM specify?
I didn't shoot anyone.

Here's what I used in mine (1776 PCB):

IC: TL072
Q1: J202
Q2: J201
Q3: 2N5088
Q4: J201

Installed nearly all 1% metal film resistors and lots of poly-film box caps.

Sounds great!  (See my post in Chat...)

Lee, I tried building the vero 2-3 times without success.
I ended up etching the board myself and also ordering the 1776, which is really great.
