Radio France Fuzz

The Full size link to directs to the corrected layout without a cut under the 22nF cap

This fuzz was brought to my attention by Tabbycat.
The demo sounds great, so I threw together this layout in 10 min. :)
It's not verified yet, and it will take some time before I can build it myself.

I changed the position of the Stoner switch to suit the vero. But it still does the same thing.

Did a 15 x 9 layout (cause I have many 9 strips boards to use) and it works.
I've also checked Freppo's layout and it's correct.
Did you add the cut under 22n?

Glad you got it working!

Thanks Alex for checking my layout!

Although.. when I looked it through again now, it seems like collector of Q1 is supposed to connect to base of Q2, so there actually shouldn't be a cut under the 22nF?..

Ops! Sorry! Of course you are right.
Yesterday I've only double checked the top part of your layout (not the cuts') after I did mine and I must have checked them both before replying to Anders
I've built mine following the schematic and it works (same as yours without the cut).

???
I built as per above layout and nothing. I jumped the cut under the 22n and I get the fuzz. The gain switch works but the stoner switch didn't change anything.
So for me I guess it's the No Cut version?
I may go over the schematic but the fuzz I did get wasn't real a keeper. I'm just dying for things to build.

No cut.
Didn't have much time to play with it.
Mine worked but I don't think it sounded anything special.
