Is there any way to add a gain reduction indicator led?

On the layout, i do not see D1 (1N5817) ?
Which kind of capacitors are suggested for the two 100nF on top of the layout ? green Mylar/box, or ceramix ?

Hello.  Use ceramic for the 100nf used on power filtering.  

I didn’t add the power protection diode.  You can easily pop one in between v+ and ground.  Or just play with the layout a bit to make it fit before the 100r.  If you are really keen and don’t want to change the layout - join 100r and the diode together and solder each end where the 100r is (if that makes sense)  

IMPORTANT:  flip the TL074 as I just noticed that it’s upside down.  

You can also swap the two 1k resistors (row 18 and 19) that supply the bias voltage to 10k to reduce power consumption
