Savvas, i think you need saving. Hope you get it working. If you do i will probably have a go but the connections freak me out. Alex if you are interested i wouldn't mind your take on this. I would definitely give it a build.

Alex
Sorry Gavin but if I do it would probably come out much larger than Savvas'.
If I had to build it I would probably buy Brian's PCB.
Simpler to build and fits in a BB tall box.
Good luck Savvas! Let us know if it works!

Thanks anyway Alex. I may have a go at Savvas's layout if he verifies it. Maybe the Madbean route will be easier.

Amazing work!

Are those wires, say the one jumping over and around the 1458, running underneath the board? I can't see them in your veroboard you pictured. You're using insulated wires also, right?.. not unshielded wire...

yeap! but i'm not there yet. i've uploaded the photo to show how much time it took me just to make the cuts, solder the jumpers, resistors and sockets...!!!now i'll place the capasitors, and then the wires that will be over the ics, from the side of the components.

would be super grateful if you could post pics when that stage of the build is complete... if I end up tackling this project having your pics as a reference would be so helpful!

Tag it!!!
It WORKS and it's great!!
I've burned (on breadboard) a regulator, so i didn't want to take the chance and burn the one and only lt1054 i had.so i've used the bipolar supply board from the main site here that needs 9V input.i've used 1N4007 diodes so i was able to get those -15/0/+15 Volts.
Anyway.the whole board works if you make a small daughterboard and feed the circuit from that with just 9V.for now i'm good with that!!! Finally i made it...
As madbean said, the pots are interacting in a massive way, so you really have to spend some time with that
Enjoy
Savvas

(i can't upload a small demo i made. i recorded it with my phone, but the file seems damaged when i try to download it from here)
