Single Mosfet clipping on Rat pedal

Elchalupacabra
A buddy of mine suggested I try a single Mosfet for the clipping instead of 2 Silicone diodes but I can't visually see how to do it. Has anyone done something similar so I can see how to pull it off, still learning at this. Thank you.

Yes that is the one I'm talking about, I'm just not sure how to go about it. There are 2 diodes, so do I put it in the first or second position, or does it go across like from on diode spot to the other. Do I just pinch the 2 legs together and solder them to one point and the drain to the other point?

One single mosfet replaces both diodes. The diodes are connected antiparallel between the output cap and ground, so remove them both and connect gate and drain together to the output cap and connect the source pin to ground.
