So I've got an extra 1590a sitting around doing nothing....

I figured that I should put it to work.

I'm thinking boost, but I don't know what kind to do.

Build an ep a long time ago and sold it.
Haven't done a katana boost.. Tempted.

Heard good things about the amz boost.

Built a boss fa-1 and sold it. I liked it but I don't think it will fit in a 1590a..

Suggestions?

I've built a few SHOs in 1590a boxes. That's always a popular one.

Lovepedal Deluxe 60.  Small, and sounds pretty good.

Good suggestions, but I would go a bit left-field, how about a dying battery simulator?

Personally, I really don't like effects pedals in a 1590A - just too small and fiddly for live use, but they are great for "accessory" circuits.

i'm not sure that i would get anything from a dying battery sim.

How about a buffer that is switchable between a klon type and a cornish type?  i think there's enough room in a 1590A for both veros..

The Phantom Octave is a fun one to play with.

I'm with beaker in that I don't find the 1590A practical for stomping.

You could make lots of cool stuff, like a shaker with a piezo transducer, some utility splitter or blend or buffer, a charge pump with a few outputs

As far as effects, the Rangemaster with charge pump layout would be good, the SHO is always good. Plenty of 1590A friendly boosters and fuzzes out there. Madbean also has several 1590A friendly PCBs with more complex circuits like Phase 45
