I´ve just built this:
It´s a shoegazer with some extras.
I´ve built a "single/stack" switch so it can work in two modes:
-Single: Average shoegazer, (to independent effects).
-Stack: Thorn´s Peaker stomp switch switches on/off whatever it comes out from the pedal. I mean, it will always turn on/off the thorn´s peaker, (and the sodameiser in front of it if engage), but if you turn it off, the pedal will be in true bypass alowing the guitar signal passing thru, even if the sodameiser is engaged. That way you can switch both pedals at the same time with just one stompswitch.
I made a layout for the switch, and everythings works perfect, just one thing:
When the the mode switch is set to "stack" mode, and no effect is engaged, I can hear thorns peaker noise bleeding on the background ,(that with the pedal on bypass as I salud before). I know its the thorns peaker, because I can hear its volume pot introducing some noise when I play with it.
The layout below lacks the led network on the stomp switches which grounds the effects input, but the pedal got it.
The Mode switch has single/stack names swapped on the layout , (just for easy identification of the switch pointer when building the effect)
I´ve just played moving all suspected connection cables, but nothing seemed to add/substract the bleeding.
Any idea?
